The purpose of this study was to develop a Qigong method in the form of the spontaneous Qigong (SQ) as one of the Qigong practices used to heal the imbalances of our minds and bodies that occur from our daily lives. In the SQ, the movements are automatically undertaken without any conscious control of the movement. Thirty representative movements that are based on actual training and which take place between the start and end of the training have been divided into six groups and developed haenggong forms. In examining the characteristics of haenggong, the rotation movements of the arms and legs comprise of the main movements, and the rotation movements repeat movements to the left and right, and movements of bending and stretching, raising and lowering and turning and stopping. The body is divided into the head, arms, legs and torso and such parts are moved individually or in tandem. Moreover, by focusing on the movement of the body by concentrating breathing and consciousness on a specific part of the body while maintaining a certain position, the internal wave of the body can be sensed. By continuing the training, the wave in certain parts of the body that is selected choose can be caused. The SQ is a Qigong practice that trains both the body and mind through the practice of circulating qi in the body and trains the muscles and bones as movements most suitable to the body is naturally performed through haenggong. The thirty different movements are the representative training movements that repeatedly appear when the mind and body are in a healthy state, and it is determined that these movements which can be easily practiced and done in a short period of time, will help heal any imbalances of the mind and body.
